The pedals were all in decent shape. Don't you just love the "starter" pedal to the right of the accellerator pedal?

I was suprised to see that the guages in this old truck were in really good shape. The seals were still in tact and the glass very clear.

Won't use the engine.. but the horn may have to stay..

This is the 216 engine that came in this truck. I'll likely not use it as I've started the process of rebuilding a 1955 235 out of another truck.

Neither of the "Chevrolet" hood emblems have survived the test of time but the "3100" emblems are in decent shape on both sides. Will likely have rechromed to keep as original as possible.

You can see a bit of the headlining dangling in this photo. Dash in in tact but rusty. Cab floor is in bad shape and will require extensive repair!

I love the look of the corner cab windows. The only glass that was broken was the back center glass. Unbelievable!!

The interior of the 1951 with "3 on the Tree"... this will stay in place for my restoration.

This is the first picture that I took after extracting the 51 from the barn. The owner told me that he had driven the truck into the barn in 1985. Doesn't look bad after sitting in a leaky barn for 22 years!

Original Chevy ID plate.. I was able to get the Serial # from this plate which was very helpful in exact identification.
